While augmentation services (such as RTK) have been available for a considerable period, their widespread adoption has been hampered by significant cost barriers and limitations in performance within challenging environments. The high expenses associated with both the equipment and the ongoing subscription fees for correction data have restricted its accessibility. Furthermore, RTK's reliance on stable signal reception renders it vulnerable to degradation in environments with obstructions such as dense urban areas.
Tupaia has developed a unique approach combining a simple GNSS API with the processing power and data richness of the cloud. Here's how it works:
● Real-Time GNSS Data Acquisition: Receivers capture raw GNSS data, including signals from multiple constellations (e.g. GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS), and multiple bands.
